It is the second time when Vistula University has honored outstanding graduates of Architecture. On January 17, 2025, a ceremonial award ceremony was held to present the winners of the competition for the best engineering diploma project defended in this field in the 2023\/24 academic year.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The submitted works presented a wide spectrum of architectural and engineering topics. They included designs of buildings with various functions, showing the creativity and commitment of young architects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury appreciated the correctness of engineering solutions, students\u2019 excellent design skills and special architectural values of presented designs, such as: functionality, aesthetics, innovative spatial solutions and original design ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition winners are:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1st place: Barbara Krawiecka<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2nd place: Victoriia Sychuk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd place: Katsiaryna Mikulchyk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honorable mentions were awarded to: Zuzanna Kruk, Hubert Sierpie\u0144, Sonia Jaworska, Katarzyna Staszczak, Nigina Ochilova, Jakob Kutela, Natalia Szewczyk.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Professor Agata W\u0142odkowska-Bagan, PhD, Vice-Rector of Vistula University<\/strong>, together with Magdalena K\u0142\u0119k, PhD<\/strong> awarded the authors of the winning works with diplomas, statuettes, and books on architectural themes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition was open to all engineering diploma theses defended in the field of Architecture in the 2023\/24 academic year which received very good or above good grades from supervisors and reviewers, and which were additionally recommended for participation in the competition by supervisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the second edition of the competition, which has gained recognition among students and lecturers. Vistula University will continue to support young designers in the coming years, promoting their outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
