The event will be broadcast on-line on the Vistula University channel on Facebook.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, we are going to open a new academic year, which is one of the most solemn moments in the life of Vistula University, and also a unique experience for students starting their studies. We are going to welcome them warmly. A solemn act of matriculation will take place during the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening of the new academic year will also provide an opportunity to sum up the past 12 months and make plans for the next year. Traditional speeches will be given by our Universities\u2019 Rectors:&nbsp;<strong>Professor<\/strong> <strong>Wawrzyniec Konarski, PhD, H.M. Rector of Vistula University, and Professor Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, H.M. Rector of the Vistula School of Hospitality.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural lecture titled <strong>\u201cPlanetwalker &#8211; an alternative economy of life and culture&#8221;<\/strong> will be given by Joanna Kos-Krauze, an outstanding director, screenwriter and producer, co-author of award-winning films: &#8220;Papusza&#8221;, &#8220;Plac Zbawiciela&#8221; and &#8220;M\u00f3j Nikifor&#8221;. Joanna Kos-Krauze is the Vice-President of the Directors&#8217; Guild of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony will also include the awarding of doctoral diplomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>We cordially invite all members of our academic community to participate in the event.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>October the 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Aula No. 4 and online on the Vistula University channel on Facebook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Due to the ceremony, rector&#8217;s
